Wind chill advisory issued for Sunday-Monday

coldman-sxc-Dave-Dyet-webIf you have something to do outside this weekend, I suggest Saturday is the day. Things are going to get a lot colder after Saturday’s high in the low 20s .

In fact, the National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for an area that includes Western Kenosha County, effective from midnight Sunday (tonight) through noon Monday.

Sunday’s high is expected to reach just 2, says the NWS forecast. Winds of 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph will produce wind chill values of -15 to -20.

Monday’s temperature will be just slightly warmer, with a high of 7, with wind of 15 mph.

The warm up of sorts starts Tuesday, when we should see a high of 13 and by the end of the week be reaching the high 20s.
