Sheriff David Beth and The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department announce the 2016 Sheriff’s Citizens’ Academy.
Classes are held once a week and will begin Monday, March 7 and end April 25.
The Citizens’ Academy is an eight-week overview of all aspects of the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department. Highlights of the academy include tours of all the Sheriff’s Department facilities, in-depth discussions and demonstrations by the Detentions Division, Investigation Bureau, Bomb squad, K-9 unit and a drunk driving arrest. Only 20 applicants will be accepted.
Applications are available for download on the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department website or at The Sheriff’s Department. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 1.
This is an exceptional course for the lay person that wants to know more about how procedures are done, understand visually were your taxes go, great demonstrations and if you have the question they have the answers. I did the course and recommend it. One evening a week, and meet some interesting people.
