Kenosha County is often seen as the northernmost extension of the Chicago area.
But there are times we are very different, such as in Saturday’s snow forecast.
The heart of the Chicago area is expected to get sizable snow fall tonight.
But here in Western Kenosha County, the National Weather Service forecast calls for maybe 1.5 inches for Saturday and Saturday night total.
The real news here is the temperature starting Sunday, which will be plunging down into the teens for highs. A warm-up into the mid 20s is forecast to begin Thursday.
