Spring Election 2016: Wilmot Union High School to see contest for board election

Voters in the Wilmot Union High School District will see a contested election for School Board seats in the April election.

Filing papers by Tuesday’s deadline to run for the three open seats seats were: Incumbents Marcie Badtke of Wilmot, Wayne Trongeau of Twin Lakes and Steve Turner of Twin Lakes as well as Roger Johnson of Silver Lake and Sue Gerber of Silver Lake.

The three candidates who receive the most votes on April 5 will fill the seats.
