Voters in the Salem-Silver Lake Jt. School District (Riverview School) will see a contested election for School Board in the April election.
Filing candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline to fill two available seats were: Incumbent Jim Walker as well as Mike Gentile and Joy Corona. The top two finishers will fill the seats.
Incumbent Brent Brenner is not seeking re-election. He turned in non-candidacy paperwork on Dec. 21.
