12:25 p.m. – Units are responding to 23300 60th St. for smoke coming from a silo. Nobody is in structure, possibly a rekindle.
12:35 p.m. – Fire unit on scene reporting a working silo fire.
UPDATE 12:41 p.m. — Highway EW north of 60th Sreet being closed. Salem F/R command requesting Randall Fire Department ladder truck to the scene.
UPDATE 12:45 p.m. — MABAS box alarm activated. Companies due to respond are: Bristol Fire and Rescue and Paris Fire and Rescue with an engine, Silver Lake Fire Department with a tender, Randall Fire Department with a ladder truck, Silver Lake Rescue Squad with an ambulance and Paris and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue with a chief.
UPDATE 4:50 p.m. — Salem F/R command clears all units from the scene and they are returning to quarters.
