Units responding for silo fire in Brighton

At 11:19 a.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire and Rescue units are responding to a silo fire in the 23300 block of 60th St. in Brighton.

Per dispatch: Fire is in a silo in the back of the property.

UPDATE 11:28 a.m. — Fire unit arriving on scene reports “minimal smoke” coming from one silo.

UPDATE 12:49 p.m — Box alarm activated for tenders only. Being requested to respond are Twin Lakes Fire Department, Silver Lake Fire Department and Randall Fire Department.

UPDATE 12:56 p.m. — Paris Fire department requested to respond with a tender.

UPDATE 1:47 p.m. — Salem F/R command notifies dispatch to strike box alarm.

UPDATE 2:44 p.m. — Salem F/R command reports to dispatch that fire is out and all units are clearing the scene.
