Units responding for fire in Paddock Lake

At about 1:58 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire and Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding for an oven fire in the 6000 block of 248th Avenue in Paddock Lake.

Per dispatch: Oven fire at the address was extinguished a couple of times, and believed to be out now. A lot of smoke in residence.

UPDATE 2:01 p.m. — Per dispatch: Deputy on scene reports no flames, but lots of smoke.

UPDATE 2:02 p.m. — Salem FD command calls for slowed response from unit still on their way to the call.

UPDATE 2:04 p.m. — Salem FD command confirms fire is out and reports medium amount of smoke inside.
