Wilmot Union High School would like to thank everyone who took part in Project Feed The Way. The school was able to donate 1200+ non-perishable food items, 75 turkeys, 75 pies and 75 bags of potatoes to The Sharing Center! We could not have done it without the support of our students, staff, families, and community members! THANK YOU!”
On Friday, Oct. 9, fans from both Wilmot and Central brought donations to the football game. Two items = free admission! This was a HUGE success!
The school store, THE PAW, also ran promotions where donations brought in equaled discount spirit items, entries into raffles and more! (See below)
- Donate five canned/boxed food items and get a FREE t-shirt on the grid wall.
- Donate ten canned/boxed food items and get a FREE hoodie, sweatpants, polo or track jacket on the grid wall.
- Donate any amount of canned/boxed food items and write your name on a turkey to enter a drawing for a $10 gift card. One turkey per item donated.
- Donate money. For each dollar you donate write your name on a turkey to enter a drawing for a $10 gift card.
- We are collecting your leftover change at the register to help purchase turkeys for Project Feed the Way.
The delivery last week consisted of 75 turkeys, 75 pies and 75 bags of potatoes along the non-perishable items that were collected here at school. The Key Club donated the pies and Student Government donated the majority of the turkeys(65). Donated money went towards the potatoes and the balance of the turkeys. THE PAW and Link Crew collected the donated food through PAW promotions and the Halloween Dance.
Kudos to the students/staff/advisors who put on such a HUGE collaborative effort to benefit the Sharing Center! Great job Wilmot High School!
THANK YOU for an outstanding job caring for those in need right here in your community. The Center is deeply grateful for your hard work and commitment to service.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
