Ozinga Ready Mix Concrete donated $1,000 to the Twin Lakes Food Pantry on Monday.

Denny Ketterhagen, Ozinga sales representative, presented the check to Melissa Papacek, representing the food pantry. Also present was Twin Lakes village President Howard Skinner.

Ketterhagen said Ozinga recently purchased Bassett Ready Mix. The funds for the donation came from a golf outing that has been held by Bassett and now Ozinga in Twin Lakes for 20 years, organized by Richard Sherman and Ketterhagen.

“They want to be community involved,” Ketterhagen said of Ozinga. “They’re here to stay …  and we’re here to help.”

Ozinga is a family owned and operated American company.
