Riverview School staff and students honored US military veterans with a program Tuesday at the school.
The program included students performing a Pledge of Allegiance ceremony, an explanation of the symbolism of the POW/MIA Table, performances of appropriate musical numbers by band and choir students and remarks from district administrator Jon Schleusner.
“Whatever you call it, (Veterans Day) is a day in which we honor the men and women who have served and are serving in the military,” Schleusner said.
