The 12th annual Bowls ‘n’ Bakers fundraiser took place Wednesday at the Parkway Chateau.
The event is organized by Kensoha Area Family and Aging Services, Inc.
The soup tasting fundraiser helps support senior and family services that KAFASI provides in Kenosha County such as Meals on Wheels, Volunteer Transportation, Daybreak and Family Support.
Six local restaurants brought their best soup for tasting by those in attendance, who then can vote for their favorite. This year’s winner was Country Corn Chowder from The Brat Stop.
PATS Services Inc. of New Munster (a westofthei.com sponsor) was the primary business sponsor of the event.
