At about 12:04 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy is responding for a report of a cow in the roadway near Highway K and Highway B, along the Salem-Brighton border.
Per dispatch: Caller is out with the animal, and believes it belongs to specific address, but cannot reach anyone there.
UPDATE 12:10 p.m. — Deputy is out with cow and caller.
