Randall School celebrated the kickoff for Red Ribbon Week 2015 on Monday.

Carson Doty was an 8th grader at Randall at the time, when she submitted the winning slogan for Kenosha County. She is now a student at Wilmot Union High School.

The national Red Ribbon Week began in 1988. It is a symbol of hope for people taking a stand against illegal drugs.

It was inspired by the death of DEA agent Enrique Camarena, killed by drug traffickers in Mexico in 1985.
