Central HS-Wilmot UHS girl swimmers contribute to Badger Fort Atkinson Invitational first place

The Badger Varsity Girls Swim Team, which is made up of girls from Badger, Big Foot, Central, Wilmot and Williams Bay high schools, earned another first place distinction at the Fort Atkinson Invitational on Saturday, completing a sweep of their 2015 invitational schedule.

The Varsity Lady Badgers remain undefeated in both conference and invitational meets. The girls have only one more dual meet, which will be against Burlington this Tuesday evening at Badger, before the conference meet on Oct. 31.

Central students who contributed to the win on Saturday include: Alena Hanson (9TH 200 YARD MEDLEY RELAY), Tessa Jahneke (8TH PLACE 500 YARD FREESTYLE) , Rylee Kennell (10TH 200 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY, 6TH 100 YARD BREASTSTROKE), Claire Koeppel (8TH PLACE 200 FREESTYLE, 4TH PLACE 500 FREESTYLE), Sarah Verzal (14TH 100 YARD FREESTYLE, 10TH 200 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY, 7TH 400 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY), Elise Wember (9TH 200 YARD MEDLEY RELAY, 6TH 200 YARD IM, 9TH 100 YARD BUTTERFLY, 10TH 200 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY), and Eden Wember (9TH 200 YARD MEDLEY RELAY, 10TH 100 YARD FREESTYLE, 5TH 200 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY).

Lauren Pryor, from Wilmot, also contributed to the win (7TH 200 IM, 5TH 100 YARD BUTTERFLY, 7TH 400 YARD FREESTYLE RELAY).
