Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes to begin

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a six-week educational series designed by Stanford University to provide you with the tools you need to take care of yourself. This program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

There are two classes you can choose from:

  • Wednesdays, Oct. 14 – Nov. 18, from 2-4 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, 7104 39th Ave., Kenosha.
  • Fridays, Oct. 16 – Nov. 20, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. St. Catherine’s Hospital, 9555 76th St., Pleasant Prairie.

A suggested donation of $10 is asked to help cover the cost of materials. Class size is limited and registration is required by Monday, Oct. 12.
