At 8:50 a.m., it may be bright and sunny out, but the National Weather Service is expecting weather later Friday a lot like what we saw Thursday evening and night.
To that end, the NWS has issued a flash flood watch for an area of southern Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County. The watch is to be in effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. As much as 1 to 1.3 inches of additional rain is anticipated. Rain is most likely between 8 p.m. and midnight. Friday’s high temperature should reach 75.
A 20 percent chance of rain will linger into Saturday morning, but the skies should eventually clear to mostly sunny. Saturday’s high temperature will be a cooler 67.
