The National Weather Service local forecast says we’re in for a couple of dark and stormy nights.
After a mostly then partly sunny day with a high in the 80s, the forecast says there’s an 80 percent chance of a thunderstorm Thursday night.
Seeing storms Friday during the day is more iffy, with just a 40 percent chance of showers. But there’s a 90 percent chance of a thunderstorm Friday night.
A 30 percent chance of showers will linger into Saturday morning, but after that the forecast looks dry, but cooler, with highs in the mid to low 70s.
