The Fight for Bryce benefit will take place Sept. 19 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Cogswell Drive in Silver Lake.
Bryce Potts, 5, was diagnosed with leukemia last year. The length of treatment for Leukemia in boys is 3 ½ years of harsh chemotherapy drugs. Just about when the family was ready to celebrate that Bryce is in remission and having completed a year of chemotherapy, he was involved in a tragic accident in June and sustained third degree burns on 30 percent of his body.
This benefit will help the family deal with medical bills and expenses related to Bryce’s difficulties.
The event will include live music by Kyle Young Band and Chris Hubbard. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a vacation raffle along with face painting and delicious food and drinks.
A $10 suggested donation will be collected at the door.
