The following is a message from the Friends of Community Library:
The Friends of Community Library are in need of one more representative on their board from the Randall/Twin Lakes area. The Paddock Lake / Salem / Silver Lake board seats are already filled. The Friends are supporters of all that our three libraries here in western Kenosha County do or provide. The board meets about ten times a year, are in charge of two or three book sales a year, and use any money raised to offset needs and expenses that are outside of the libraries’ budget. If you have ever checked out a book, needed information, attended a program yourself offered by one of the libraries or took your children or grandchildren to a summer, weeknight or weekend activity, you know how important and interesting our libraries are to us all.
