Units responding to Salem School for alarm

At 9:20 a.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to Salem School for a general fire alarm.

UPDATE 9:22 a.m. — Per dispatch: Alarm company says they received a call from an unidentified person saying the alarm is false. Some fire units still responding to check out situation; others staying in or returning to quarters.

UPDATE about 9:45 a.m. — Fire unit on the scene reports to dispatch that alarm was accidental. All fire units returning to quarters.
