Units responding for fire in Trevor

At about 1:10 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding for a fire in a residence in the 10700 block of 256th Avenue in Trevor.

Per dispatch: A caller reported a fire in a laundry room. Occupants are evacuating.

UPDATE 1:35 p.m. — Box alarm to the working still level activated. For change of quarters, the following depaetments are due to respond: Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue with an engine and a chief, Kansasville Fire Department with a tender (water tanker) and Antioch Fire Dartment with an ambulance. Bristol Fire and Rescue responding to the scene with an engine.

UPDATE 1:43 p.m. — Dispatch reports fire is under control. Firefighters making sure fire is thoroughly out.

UPDATE about 2:35 p.m. — Bristol FD unit released from the scene and returning to quarters.
