The fifth annual Old Settlers Oktoberfest will take place Sept 12 at Old settlers Park in Paddock Lake from noon to 8 p.m.
This year’s event will feature German dances and music, a classic car show, the Dachshund Dash dog races, children’s activities, a raffle as well as beer, wine and food tents. Everything will wrap up with a fireworks finale at 8 p.m.
Returning this year will be the Little Miss Edelweiss Pageant. Details and an entry form is available here.
New this year will be the County Executive 5K, with registration at 8 a.m. and race start at 9 a.m. Awards will be given to overall winners, age group winners, best Oktoberfest Attire and other fun awards. More information and online registration is available here.
Proceeds of this year’s raffle will go toward funding the construction of a permanent bandshell for Old Settlers Park.
