At about 2:37 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 26000 block of Highway C in Trevor.
Per dispatch: Two vehicles involved, a pick-up truck and a mini-van. Impact may have been head on. Some injuries being reported.
UPDATE 2:40 p.m. — Unit arriving on scene reports heavy front end damage to the mini-van.
UPDATE 2:44 p.m. — Second Salem Fire/Rescue ambulance being dispatched to the scene.
UPDATE 2:47 p.m. — Traffic on Highway C being shut down from the west.
UPDATE 2:51 p.m. — Silver Lake Rescue Squad being requested to respond as mutual aid with an ambulance.
UPDATE 2:58 p.m. — Deputy requests tows for both vehicles.
