Mary Andersen resigns from Central HS board; replacement sought

Mary Andersen has resigned as a member of the Central High School District of Westosha School Board.

A media release from the district said the resignation was due to Andersen moving out of the Salem portion of the district. Andersen held the Salem seat.

The district is now looking for people willing to fill Andersen’s seat through April 2016. The person appointed could run in the April 2016 election to fill the seat through April 2017, when the three-year term expires.

Candidates for the seat must live in the Salem School District, but not in Paddock Lake. People interested in being appointed can file a letter of interest with the district to: Mrs. Kim Hole-administrative assistant, Central High School Board of Education, 24617 75th ST., PO BOX 38, Salem, WI 53168. Deadline for submission of a letter is Sept. 15. The board will interview candidates a make a selection based on those interviews.
