Each year, some are chosen for the Best of the Best honor.

Here’s 2015’s Best of the Best list:

Pre-K — Champion: Anthony Agosto – St. Alphonsus; Reserve Champion: Grace Hansen – Wheatland.

Kindergarten — Champion: Chase Seitz – Salem; Reserve Champion: Landon Lucas – Salem.

1st Grade — Champion: Cedar Casper – Trevor-Wilmot; Reserve Champion: Teegan Glaves – Randall.

2nd Grade — Champion: Maya Gagliardi – Randall; Reserve Champion: Sophia Lowetz – Randall.

3rd Grade — Champion and Reserve Champion: Daniel Stasierowski – Providence.

4th Grade — Champion: Reid Glassen – Bristol; Reserve Champion: Austin Dawson – Brighton.

5th Grade — Champion: Garrett Luoma – Randall; Reserve Champion: Zoe Zenner – Randall.

6th Grade — Champion: Delaney Hawkins – Bristol; Reserve Champion: Tanner Cole – Trevor-Wilmot.

7th Grade — Champion: Alivia Smith – Riverview; Reserve Champion: Kayla Oswalt – Salem.

8th Grade — Champion: Elizabeth VanKammen – Bristol. Reserve Champion: Jerimiah Daletski – Bristol

Overall grand champion: Elizabeth VanKammen (Bristol – 8th grade)
