Several Western Kenosha County departments responded to assist the Kenosha Fire Department with a 3 alarm fire this morning.
Kenosha Fire was dispatched at 8:28 am for a report of smoke coming from the roof at a building at 64th Street and 28th Avenue. They arrived to find fire throughout the building. The request for additional response eventually reached three alarms. The heat and humidity was taxing on the firefighters.
Power was temporarily cut for 1500 nearby residents.
Responding county departments included Bristol, Salem, Paris and Wheatland.
Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
