The Western Kenosha County Tennis Association will be hosting its second annual 24-hour tennis fundraiser event “Rally for Life,” with proceeds to benefit The American Cancer Society of Kenosha County and The Sharing Center. This 24-hour event will take place on Friday, July 31 starting at 4 p.m. through Saturday, Aug. 1 at 4 p.m. at the Central High School Tennis Courts.

The WKCTA is looking to keep a tennis ball going back and forth over the net for 24 hours while also raising funds for the American Cancer Society of Kenosha County and collecting “back-to-school” items for the Sharing Center.

Currently, WKCTA is seeking participants for the Rally; it is free to participate. Visit www.wkcta.com for more information and how to register to be a Rally Participant. Participants are asked to bring any of the following “Back To School” items to be donated to the Sharing Center or provide a monetary donation for the American Cancer Society of Kenosha. “Back To School” items needed by the Sharing Center: New Gym Shoes, Full Size Back Packs, Paper & Notebooks and Pens & Pencils.

WKCTA is also currently seeking cancer survivors or those currently battling to participate in a ceremony starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

During the 24 hour event there will be a number of tennis and non tennis activities for everyone. You can join the fun anytime during the 24 hours.
