At about 2:30 p.m., Twin Lakes Fire Department units and a village police officer are responding for an activated fire alarm in the 2100 block of East Lakeshore Drive in Twin Lakes.
UPDATE 2:35 p.m. — Per dispatch: Alarm company called to cancel. They believe this is a false alarm caused by work going on at the location. Police officer to respond and confirm. Fire equipment holding in station.
UPDATE about 2:40 p.m. — Police officer confirms this was a false alarm.
