UPDATE 3:26 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports wire down effecting southbound traffic. No structure fire visible at this time.
UPDATE 3:36 p.m. — Deputy reports that Highway 83 being shut down. Another deputy arrives at 258th Court and 258th Avenue to investigate a report of a down wire.
UPDATE 4:01 p.m. — Town of Salem Fire/Rescue responding to a report of a down wire in the 9100 block of 256th Avenue.
UPDATE 4:09 p.m. – Deputies are out with a down wire in about the 13800 block of Highway WG that is block the road.
