At 1:37 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a wire on fire in the 8500 block of 226th Avenue in Salem.
UPDATE 1:39 p.m. — Salem F/R command holding rescue in quarters. Dispatch reports that wire appears to be intact.
UPDATE 1:54 p.m. — Salem F/R personnel have not located the problem wire yet. They will check with caller.
