At about 11:46 a.m., a sheriff’s deputy is responding for a report of an injured bird in the 2000 block of Highway 75 in Brighton.
Per dispatch: Caller said the turkey was along the east side of the highway and appeared injured.
UPDATE 11:55 a.m. — Deputy reports bird is conscious and breathing and out of traffic.
