Units responding for alarm in Wheatland

At about 9:24 a.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units along with sheriff’s deputies are responding to a residence in the 39500 block of Bloomfield Road in Wheatland.

Per dispatch: An upstairs smoke alarm has been activated.

UPDATE 9:25 a.m. — Dispatch reports to Wheatland FD command that alarm company says alarm is false and was triggered by shower steam. Most fire and rescue units returnign to quarters. Some will continue to verify.
