These local students have graduated from Carthage College. A weekend of activities culminated in the May 24 Commencement ceremony, as Carthage awarded 530 degrees in the N. E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center Fieldhouse.
- Garrett Campbell of Salem earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management .
- Sara Shumaker of Bristol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management (graduated magna cum laude).
- Wesley Crisman of Salem earned a Bachelor of Arts in French and Communication .
- Perla Jaimes of Salem earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Spanish (graduated magna cum laude).
- Randi Rederer of Bristol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education, Sport and Fitness Instruction (graduated cum laude).
- Shannon Raymond of Silver Lake earned a Master of Education .
Emmy-winning broadcast journalist Laura Ling gave the commencement address. She is now director of development for Discovery Digital Networks.
