Two wheelchair basketball players and a coach from UW-Whitewater gave a presentation at Paris School Thursday afternoon. According to Roger Gahart, District Administrator, Bella Fox, 8, was involved in an accident last year, lost her leg and has a prosthetic. “Our students have been so wonderful, working and learning and were all learning how to help Bella, and we just thought this would be a great experience for Bella.” Seth Bayles, 14, who also has some health issues, came over from Bristol School for the event.

They talked about wheelchairs, wheelchair basketball, and answered questions from the kids. Then some of the kids had the chance to try playing a bit of wheelchair basketball.
