The Wheatland Willing Workers 4-H Club will be planting a tree on Saturday May 9 in honor of Arlene Roanhaus.
Roanhaus was the club’s long time leader of 35 years. She died in January 2014.
Roadhaus was a youth member of the club from 1938-1946 and became a leader from 1947-1974 and then again in 1995-2003. She was honored with many 4-H awards during her life including the Outstanding 4-H Alumni Award in 1995 and was recently inducted into the first class of the Kenosha County 4-H Hall of Fame in October 2014.
The tree will be planted at 10:30 a.m. near the New Munster Park sign, next to the Wheatland Fire Department. There will be a ceremony for family and friends at the time of planting. The Wheatland Willing Workers encourage anyone who had their lives touched my Arlene to join them to celebrate her life.
