Katie Skora, a Central High School alumni from 2014, is the only freshman amongst juniors and seniors on the UW-Whitewater Women’s Club Volleyball team. On April 11, the women’s club volleyball team won the National Collegiate Club Volleyball championship, held in Kansas City, Missouri.
In order to win the championship, that morning UW-Whitewater defeated UW-Oshkosh (25-15, 15-25, 15-9), North Dakota State University (25-21, 25-19) and Winona State University (25-22, 25-16).
