Lakewood School observed Earth Day 2015 on Wednesday.
The school conducted its annual Earth Day community cleanup program after school.
Over 100 students, parents, and staff members turned out. Those volunteers picked up trash in the neighborhoods near the school and in downtown Twin Lakes. Additionally, the school provided educational activities that promoted ecological awareness.
“We are happy to reach out and support our community and find ways to help make Twin Lakes the best it can be,” said Joseph Price, district administrator.
