UPDATE 7:25 p.m. — Ambulance transporting a patient to a local hospital. All other units clearing the scene.

  1. Paddock Lake Paramedics says:

Yet another case of Salem Fire Department PARAMEDICS responding to a school for a medical EMERGENCY………..EXCEPT in Silver Lake, where EMTs respond to school medical emergencies. I think those kids in Silver Lake deserve the same response as the other kids!

  2. Bristol Response says:

Here in Bristol, Bristol Fire Department PARAMEDICS respond to our school medical emergencies, along WITH the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department. Residents are VERY SATISFIED with our services. My concern is that if my son is at a school event in Silver Lake(basketball game, school function, etc.), and has some type of medical event, he won’t get the same level of service(Paramedics)that he gets here in Bristol. That’s a concern to me.
