The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Fox River in Western Kenosha County.
The flood watch is expected to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Flood stage at the New Munster gauge (near Karcher Road) is 11 feet. At 3:15 p.m. Friday, the river was measured at 10.05 feet.
The current hydrologic forecast calls for the river to crest at 11.5 feet Sunday morning and be back under flood stage Thursday morning.
