The burn ban in Silver Lake has been lifted.
From Silver Lake Fire Department Chief Allison Draeger:
Due to the rain, the open burn ban has been lifted. I would like to remind the residents that with all open burning a permit must be obtained from and signed by the fire chief at no cost to the resident. Please familiarize yourself with the components of the Village burning ordinance before starting an open burn ”
Well, the burn ban may have been lifted, but a few folks still doing a “slow burn” here in Silver Lake!
Hey sgt. Punsley now that burning ban is lifted the fictional charecter ban is next so all the phonies can lift there mask and show there true identity !
Mr. Punsley don’t listen to them. The rest of us enjoy what you have to say, the way you say it.

It does have a rather “bittersweet” taste to it, but you are welcome to help yourself to seconds, “Sam”.
While the burn ban in Silver Lake may have been lifted, it appears the ban on posting any comments about activities in Silver Lake remains in place. A few slipped through on this posting, maybe even this one, if you are reading this.
@Pete……….thanks for the encouragement…I shall continue to try and be the “voice of reason” in Silver Lake, to the delight of many, the chagrin of a few.

Ummmm……Linda Punsley I am not…..that is pretty hilarious. Darren “moderates” me on a pretty regular basis! And yes….most of my comments are “AMAZING”!!!
