At about 5:45 p.m., Silver Lake Fire Department, Silver Lake Rescue Squad, Town of Salem Fire/Rescue-Wilmot Station, Randall Fire Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department units and Silver Lake Police are responding to a report of a fire at a church in the 200 block of North Fourth Street in Silver Lake.
Per dispatch: This is a grass fire on the church grounds.
UPDATE 5:48 p.m. — Silver Lake FD command at the scene reports to dispatch that a single engine can handle fire. All other units released to return to quarters.
