Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a 6 week educational series designed to provide you with the tools you need to take care of yourself. This program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources. Classes will be held at the Brookdale-Pleasant Prairie Assisted Living, 7377 88th Ave., Kenosha, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., every Wednesday from April 15 – May 20. The fee is $10 and covers cost of materials. Scholarships are available.
