Units responding for possible water call in Wheatland

At about 11:50 a.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Silver Lake Rescue Squad and County Dive Team units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a possible water call in the 34100 block of Highway JB along the Wheatland-Racine County border.

Per dispatch: A caller reporetd seeing an unoccupied inflatable raft in an area of broken ice on the Fox River.

UPDATE 11:53 a.m. — Dive team members being held in quarters.

UPDATE 12:26 p.m. — Wheatland FD command has dive team members stand down.
