Seno K/RLT Conservancy hosted an open house on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at it’s facility, 3606 Dyer Lake Road (Highway P) in Wheatland.
The event provided the opportunity to learn about the area, and its trees, plants and animals. There were displays of pollinator houses and bat houses. While looking at everything and asking questions, you could enjoy some refreshments and see Smokey Bear.
You can enjoy the natural area at Seno or periodically, they offer workshops to teach how to do various natural or organic things in your own yard. Currently, people can sign up for the April workshop on cultivating mushrooms .
Seno is open Dawn to Dusk, every day.
