Wind chill advisory issued for tonight through Monday morning

WEATHER-ALERT-logo-all-3-webThe National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for our area.

I know. Of course they have. Seems to happen daily these days doesn’t it?

Well, I agree but we should go through the details nonetheless. This advisory is set to be in effect from 9 p.m. Sunday through 10 a.m., Monday. Temps below zero tonight and no higher than 8 tomorrow and northwest winds from 5 to 15 mph will lead to wind chill values in the neighborhood of -15 to -25.

The local NWS forecast calls for the high temperature to creep up to 27 Tuesday but then dip back into the teens for Wednesday through Friday. Maybe a little warmer over the weekend.
