There’s been little change in the National Weather Service temperature forecast for the next few days. It’s going to be pretty cold.
But now there’s a decent chance of a little snow later in the week.
Today’s forecast high is 6. Thursday’s forecast high is 2. However, so far our area has escaped being put under the wind chill advisory that will go into effect a little later today and last until mid day Thursday in Lake County, just to the south of us in Illinois.
Friday is set to see a slight increase in temperature with a high of 17, but there also is a 70 percent chance of snow. Accumulation of less than a half inch is forecast.
Saturday should see even more warming, with a high of 29. But it will be short-lived with highs dipping back into the teens for Sunday and Monday.
