Here are the results of the Silver Lake village trustee primary election as of 8:22 p.m. as reported by the Kenosha County Clerk’s office:
- Sabrina Moran 202.
- Sandra L. Folgers 198.
- Eldon Johnston 196.
- Eric Ericksen 146.
- Pat Dunn 130.
- Doug Randolph 120.
- Charles (Marty) Wiltberger II 92.
- Dave Lathrop 17.
These results would mean Wiltberger and Lathrop are eliminated and will not appear on the April 7 ballot. Lathrop had announced that he did not intend to continue his campaign for trustee, but his name was not able to
UPDATE 8:27 p.m. — Village Clerk Terry Faber reports the above numbers are complete unofficial results except for seven outstanding absentee ballots. A board of canvas will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at 4:15 p.m. for any ballots that are returned by 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 20 and postmarked on or before Feb. 17, 2015.

@Bernard? According to your logic, there will be no April 7th voting. Yogi Berra used to say “It ain’t over ’til it’s over”. Apparently, it’s over(according to you!) I wasn’t aware “my candidates” were “sacrificial lambs”. You must feel pretty confident that since less than 50% of our eligible voters turned out, “your candidates” have won the election. Meanwhile, NONE of the PROBLEMS facing our village have gone away!!!! Stay tuned!
Maybe next election you can talk Francart, Galich, or Albrecht to run? Nah,,, why would they run when they can keep talking their neighbors in to doing their dirty work. Some of the village’s problems have gone away…… Albrecht isn’t on the board.

Do you have any other neighbors the people of Silver Lake haven’t heard of you can talk into running for office? Ha-ha-ha-ha! Is it possible for you to show Bruce Nopenz where the village hall is? I would suggest you also tell him when the meetings are there, but let’s start with baby steps.

4: Have continued to be the “pulse” of this village, to the delight of many, the chagrin of a few, yourself included.
