Wilmot Shooting Club gets grant

wilmot-trap-2015-eau-claireThe Wilmot Shooting Club has received grant funds from the MidwayUSA Foundation, a public charity working to provide financial support to youth shooting teams through its Team Endowment Account Program. The grant money will help pay for team expenses, such as ammunition, targets, entry fees, travel and more.

Grants totaling over $1.4 million were sent to 475 youth shooting teams in this most recent grant cycle. Teams are eligible to apply for a grant once per year and can grow their Team Endowment Account through soliciting private donations, which are matched 1:1, earnings, and conducting fundraisers. The MidwayUSA Foundation also offer items to active teams to use as fundraisers, such as unique firearms, optics, and knives. Over 2,000 shooting teams across the country have money in their Team Endowment Account.
