The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Kenosha and Racine counties starting at noon Sunday and extending to midnight tonight.
With snow accumulation eventually as high as 10 inches in the area, winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph will produce blowing and drifting. Visibility may be reduced to .5 mile or less and whiteout may occur.
The latest local NWS forecast calls for a sunny but cold Monday, with a high of 14 and wind chill in the range of -10 to 0.
A likely chance of snow returns to the forecast Tuesday night, with a 60 percent chance of 1 to 2 inches of accumulation.
